Leftovers Olympics and conquer hunger Brazil's poor








A number of chefs preparing meals to feed the poor neighborhoods of Rio de Janeiro, using remnants of food that comes out of the Olympic Village.
The idea was inspired by chefs from Italy witnessed a similar initiative last year on the sidelines of the organization of Milan Expo.
The team aspires, who led the Italian chef Massimo Boutura- to prepare five thousand meals a day coming from the Olympic village, which is currently home to 11 thousand people leftovers.
Brazilian chef David Hartz explained that the initiative will continue during the period of the special people with special needs, which will be held in Rio also the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games.
According to statistics from UN agencies, between 30 and 40% of the food produced around the world is not consumed for corruption after the crop pounds or during transportation or throw food by shops and people.
